Leah Abramowitz

Leah Abramowitz is a geriatric social worker with extensive experience in the field of psychogeriatrics and community services for the elderly. She has worked in a geriatric hospital department and a rehabilitation ward for over twenty years. In addition she coordinates MELABEV, an organization which provides services for the elderly demented and their families. She also organizes educational programs for professionals in the field of aging. Ms. Abramowitz has written numerous articles for professional journals and the popular press, and works as a free lance writer on a wide range of subjects. Ms. Abramowitz grew up in St. Louis, Mo. and is currently residing in Jerusalem.
