Dr. Sylvia Rimm
is a psychologist and author of the best-selling See Jane Win. She has
gained a national following with her practical and commonsense advice.
She directs the Family Achievement Clinic at the Cleveland Clinic in
Cleveland, Ohio, and is a clinical professor of psychiatry and pediatrics
at Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine.
Dr. Rimm speaks and publishes nationally
on family and school approaches to guiding children toward achievement.
She hosts the popular national call-in program on public radio called
Family Talk With Sylvia Rimm, where she answers listeners' questions
on parenting. Her newspaper column is syndicated nationally through
Creators Syndicate. Dr. Rimm appears regularly on television including
a monthly parenting series on NBC's Today show called Raising Kids in
the 90's.
