I: Introduction

Okay, so we've reached the year 2000 (and beyond), when relationships develop with strangers on chat boards and you're as far away from your best friend as a phone call or e-mail can take you.

Yet we still care about family dinners, holidays and about keeping the joy in joyful occasions that happen close to home.

As a matter of fact, people might want to reach out and touch someone a few thousand miles away, but they want even more to be able to connect with that kid or adult in the next room, who shares the same last name (or at least the same roof, or either, or both). We all need time to get together with whomever comprises the rest of our current "nucleus" to just talk and reconnect and sort things out, when we're not busy burning the burgers or passing the pizza.

The Family Meeting is not just a method, it's a statement: "Talking it through" doesn't need a special occasion.

Start with The Purpose and follow the stages to a succesful Family Meeting!

MAY ALL YOUR FAMILY MEETINGS BE HAPPY ONES!

GOOD LUCK!
