Welcome to RealLetters!

There is right way to communicate and a wrong way to communicate. Our goal in RealLetters is to help you learn the most effective way to communicate to your friends, family members and loved ones, in order to heal, improve or enrich your relationships.

We suggest that you begin your RealLetters journey by reading On Communicating by Dr. Michael Tobin, WholeFamily's CEO and Marriage Center Director. He talks about the skill and significance of communication in general and about communication through letter writing in particular.

Chantal Danino Holt discusses The Therapeutic Benefits of Letter Writing.

We also provide the actual tools through which you can write those letters in our Letter Library, you will find examples of letters that are written the wrong way and letters that are written the right way.You will be able to learn from those letters how to express your point of view in a way that will enable you to achieve your goals. Once you've gotten the hang of it, you can go straight to our Write a Letter feature.

Writing a letter, or even a short note, to yourself can bring you comfort, encouragement and strength. Learn how to write such a letter in our Letters to Yourself section.

When all else fails, check out the therapeutic effects of the Unsent Letter and the Burning Ritual.

Now, good luck, and happy writing!
