You've been hurt by someone, you are angry, you are holding on to painful memories. There is a safe and healthy way to release all that negative energy.

Write a letter that you will never send. Give yourself the opportunity to put down on paper emotions that are holding you back or keeping you down. Here are some guidelines to writing the letter that you will not send, and the burning ritual afterwards.

Choose a time and place to write the letter, when you will not be interrupted. Start writing without thinking of what you want to say. Try not to lift your fingers from the keyboard. Let your fingers fly as if guided by an inner or outer power.

When you finish writing, do not re-read the letter. Go ahead. Toss it into the fire.

This is a known to be a very powerful cleansing and healing process.
