Erin
Donovan, Senior Teen Advisor
"Any man's death diminishes me, because
I am involved in mankind, and therefore never send
to know for whom the bell tolls; it tolls for thee."
--John Donne
My name is Erin, and I live in Illinois.
I just graduated from high school in June of '99.
I like helping people because I know what it's like
to feel that no one cares. But I care. I care because
in this human society we are all in this together.
What happens to one affects us all.
When giving advice, I look at the problem as if it
were my own, and try to answer in the way that I would
want someone to help me: with careful consideration,
honesty, and empathy.
Two of the people that I admire most in history are:
1. Jack Kerouac ~ He understood the human spirit
and relationships, and left behind beautiful writings
that help others to understand.
2. Martin Luther King Jr. ~ He knew a mass
of people were wrong and sacrificed his life to change
it.
A parting thought:
"Never give up hope on someone, it might be all
the hope they have..."
--H. Jackson Browne |

| Sara
Eisen, 26, loves her job as Teen Center Director,
mostly because she can watch MTV, Party of Five, Friends,
and Ally McBeal and call it "research." She enjoys house
painting, gardening and hanging out with her brainiac husband
and two active (OK, wild) sons, and is a spirited participant
in her suburbia's social scene (pathetic, from an objective
perspective; actually exciting once you've had a few kids).
Sara is an exercise enthusiast, and hopes the loud music
does not affect her children's hearing. |

Steve
Cuddlechuck, PhD., is a native of Atlanta, Georgia,
where he received his advanced degree in Anatomy and Kinesiology.
(His undergraduate work was in Philosophy, but his parents
urged him to "learn something useful".)
He was teaching Anatomy at Pitt High School in Michigan
(where he moved after marrying Charlene Bowers, the school's
principal), when he realized that he'd rather be playing
basketball. He's been coaching ever since, and sometimes
even hands over the ball.
Doc Cuddlechuck enjoys engaging in debates with his wife's
three (single) brothers, who come over every Sunday to
watch football and virtually eat him out of house and
home.
(The above bio is a work of fiction. Coach Cuddlechuck
is a composite of advice dispensing guys who wish they
were that cool.) |
