Therapist
Naomi Baum
Naomi is the director of Psychological Services for a school district. She has been a consulting psychologist for elementary, junior highs, high schools and nurseries for over twenty years. She also teaches psychology to education students at a local college, focusing on developmental psychology, adolescent psychology and educational psychology.
Naomi received her undergraduate training at Bar-Ilan University in Psychology, and completed both her Master’s degree in School Psychology and her Ph.D. in Counseling and Child Development at Bryn Mawr College.
While she has accrued many degrees and much work experience, her real understanding of kids and families comes from being married to the same man for twenty five years, and raising, with him, their seven children. Currently, four of those seven are teenagers! During her spare time (what spare time?) she can be found in the pool or on the exercise bike, catching up with her latest novel.
