Any love letter to a spouse is a good thing, but there are always ways to make it better. There is also a difference between a short note in a briefcase/lunchbox or a full length letter. The "okay" letter here might be fine for a brief note, but the "even better" letter works well if you intend to really communicate to your spouse what you love about him/her.

The Okay Way

Dear Stanley,
You are just the most wonderful person in the whole world an
d I think you know that I feel that way. I love you. You always make me feel so happy. If I don't tell you often enough, it's just that I think you already know how I feel.

Love,
Monica

The Even Better Way

Dear Stanley,
Sometimes I forget to tell you how much I appreciate you so I want to let you know.I appreciate your thoughtfulness. When you vacuumed and washed my car yesterday, I felt so loved. I know that there are other things you can do with your time off and yet you showed me that caring for me was important to you. Thank you.

Thank you again.I love you. Thanks for being my sweetie.

Monica
